It’s a soggy spring on Old Crabby Island and a few short months since Leonora was reunited with her dad at The Great Gadget Games, Uncle Luther’s dastardly inventing show. But her mum is still missing, held captive by Luther somewhere in the Molehill Mountains.

Now a member of SIG, Leonora has been working non-stop with her dad and the world’s greatest inventors to track Eliza down. Meanwhile, Captain Spang is on a perilous mission to find HMS Invisible and an old diary belonging to Victorian scientist, Ada Scrumble. The diary contains groundbreaking research about a new and dangerous energy source found at remote global locations.

But when world’s pets start acting strangely, and SIG takes the blame, Leonora and the gang must follow clues to find a link between the pet pandemonium and Ada’s research.

They explore faraway islands, search spooky rainforests, and sail to the very ends of the earth to unravel the polar puzzle and find what’s hidden beneath the Antarctic ice.
